I bought these panels years ago, but in the end I went the Solar PV route.
These are very old with copper conducting panels within an aluminium frame. The fronts are well weathered GRP panels that I assume were transparent when new.
However I have found an online link for the GRP stuff used on lorry roof's. The backs are made from a sheet of aluminium, with Rockwool style insulation.
The dark panel is with the GRP removed.
My pan was to remove the GRP panel (Its only thin stuff) and cover them with glass panels from patio doors (I have 2 or 3 you can have). They're not quite big enough to cover the who panel,
so was either going to cover the small uncovered area with insulation, then a bit of aluminium.
Ideal for swimming pools or pre-heating hot tubs etc.
Sizes: 85" tall, 33" wide, 4" deep with 22mm ports.
Obviously these are far from prime condition so open for offers. If no one is interested, I'll dismantle them to weigh in the copper and aluminium
